AquaSense

Overview

AquaSense adds monitoring to an existing reverse-osmosis system. Sensors before and after the filter measure TDS — total dissolved solids — while the app shows input and output readings, reduction percentage, history and alerts. Core features work locally without requiring a cloud service.

Problem

A fixed replacement calendar does not reflect changes in incoming water or how an RO filter performs over time. Owners need a way to observe input and output readings and notice changes between service intervals.

Solution

An IN/OUT sensor pair connects to the AquaSense module, which joins the local Wi-Fi network. The mobile app presents live TDS values, trends and alerts. Home Assistant integration brings the readings into smart-home dashboards and automations.
